The Stoner used his Switchblade this evening, and it sounded like a monster! Though he did use a Boss Super Overdrive in the front end for some extra kick.

Yeah - the Switchblade sounded good last night. The BOSS OD was just for a little extra push, the drive was on about 2. Good thing about the H&K is that it is quite light to carry about (roughly half the weight of my 5150)! The FX aren't anything special but I only use a touch of them anyway in a gig situation.

Great to do a gig and have a Dual Recto sitting there unused as a backup amp!

You too mate! Don't know how you managed to keep playing with that half-undressed woman all over you - her boyfriend didn't look too pleased!

I have the JSX and really like it. Very easy to dial in a good tone, and the footswitchable effects loop is excellent. My problem with amps that you have to build presets is that the knobs are usually not WYSIWYG, and I'd rather choose my own effects (if any). I find the more simple signal path/amp designs sound better to me. With NAMM is two weeks, I wouldn't buy a new amp just in case a new product looks to be a better match for your needs. Good luck!

thank you guys!

well, the switchblade top with a 4x12 vinatage 30 cab is just awesome! the combos are ok, but the top with the cab is really nice...
is anybody using a switchblade (of course with an ebmm axe) in this forum as main-amp?!

i will wait definately some weeks or maybe month - i think the prices will be better after the namm.;)

i´ve talked to the guys who played the koch and they told me that the clean channel is just great. we´ll see... maybe i have a chance to check out a koch.

:)
