“What happens when you play back a prerecorded synthesizer track at 48K instead of the intended 44.1K? The whole track plays back a little bit faster and at a slightly higher pitch, that's what. A dissonant musical mess ensues, trapping the guitarist and bassist in an on-stage musical hell with nowhere to go...”

Yeah, man. And the audience, too.

Couldn't watch the whole thing...at least they soldiered on, and didn't pull an Ashley Simpson.

Yeah, "no where to hide"!

I can feel that pain - I've been there!!! Anyone with any length of routine live performance HAS BEEN THERE in one way or another!

It's not fun, but just keep pushin till the song (nightmare) is over!

The latest: I was at legendary band concert (world renown for the last 35yrs). They came back on to do an encore and the drums started on time, as well as the vocalist, but after an unusually long and undetectable intro (very late and out of position) the guitar amps were FINALLY taken off of standby!!!

keep pushin till the nightmare is over!

kids I cant keep stuff here pokin fun at them..the sad part is that nearly al, of the bands use protools or tape..I was at a warped tour last year and there was a power pop punk band playing and they were out of tune but the guitar and bass was in tune...I turned to Ryan our sound man and said WTF? HE SAID THEY ARE OUT OF TUNE WITH THEIR PRO TOOLS....
