T Minus 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Bongo!

It had to happen eventually, I just didn't expect it to happen so soon! I found out that I had a recording session scheduled very early next week which needed a 5 string, and I'd decided I was going to eventually get a Bongo. I don't need to explain what happened next!

Gard over at Bass Central happened to have what I wanted (I wanted to go through Daddy O's but they didn't have what I wanted in stock right now...I'l; need a Stingray eventually though! ) and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So later this week I'll be taking order of a Graphite Pearl HH Bongo 5.

I'll post pics when it shows up. Can't wait!!!!

Cool! Congrats on the purchase and you'll love the way that Bongo sounds in the studio. I have quite a few other basses and ever since I've had the Bongo it's been my main studio bass.

To echo what Andrew said: the Bongo is great for studio work. I play mine live as my main bass, but both of the Bongos Ive had got lots of compliments in various studio settings.
