Taking Guitar on Airplane

I had some flight cases built by Jan-Al. Have never had a problem, except for the hassle of lugging them around. One of them allows me to stow two basses in their gig bags, and United and Delta have been unable to break them, so far.

I've flown three or four times with a guitar and have always checked it in and had no problems whatsoever.

That said I always put the case into a cardboard box for extra protection although once I simply wrapped "large-bubble" bubble wrap around the outside and that was fine too....
