i have decided that i am going to be a music performance major, and i am very excited! any advice? have any of you taken this route before? i still have to choose my focus instrument, but i will figure that out with time. thanks!

lol its not me haha, its kirk from metallica. he seems to be the joker of the group. i do practice a lot, and since i live in the most boring dorm in the school, theres nothing to do but practice

School is great-----but the best advice I can give is GIG,GIG,GIG. Play any gig you can get anywhere anytime in any style.You will learn more on the bandstand than you ever will in school. If you can combine the gigging and the formal education--then you will be a double threat!!!!!!!
