It's all a matter of personal preferences, the trans colors have always been my favorites.

I like it, of course - almost went with that combo before I decided on the MM-90s and the black pearl guard on my AL.

The neck is pretty similar to mine; just a hint of figure.

Yeah, yeah, I know - I owe everyone my own pics and a tone report. It will come over the weekend as I mashed my left hand moving some furniture for my mother the day after Thanksgiving (at the mashing, not my mom), so I've been down from playing until a cut at the end of my left index finger heals up .

I love the look of the guitar and the knurled chrome knobs are a nice touch. I must say that I prefer the look of the bridge with the vintage steel saddles to these machined jobbies - I assume that these saddles are meant to accommodate the piezo system?

As HARD as I try I CANNOT get into the AL body shape. I LOVE the sound of it though. I just think the body is ugly.

Does anyone know whether the trans color (especially the trans red option) still looks the same with the recently built ones? Or has there been a change? The trans red as it is shown on amazon looks somewhat darker and a bit faint..

I love trans colors (or bursts) on any guitar. It's made out of wood and I'd like to see the wood. As much as that one's really nice, I still think my BCB Al is the nicest I've seen.

Trans are by far my favorite finishes as I love to see the figuring of the wood, though I am not crazy for red finishes, I have seen some of the guys Pink ALs and they are seriously cool.

Progdude I used to feel the same way until the AL cameout with the HH configuration, and it was like the plain girl in school who comes back one year over summer vacation and is all of a sudden the hottest chick in the class lol.
