I've seen and heard nothing but great things about the 20th Silo and I'm real close to making the leap.

I'm apprehensive about dropping that much cash on a guitar I haven't played so I'm looking for some peer pressure to help me out. ;)

i hear ya dude, i was so unsure what to do too. Everyone was going ape about it, BP said its the best guitar they've ever made!!! But i held off ordering as it was expensive here in Oz and the ordering window was closing. But the supplier here said they are getting two in anyway, first come first served, so i took the plunge, i did not regret it! there's still the 2nd one left i believe.....

Ive played a bunch and I have compared them to the silo and the luke at the same store, they are fat sounding, like a paul, but they snap like a strat, the pups are vintagy sounding though, I like hotter pups on it but the pups do sound fat as hell, its a great guitar and it looks killer to boot -

I was not interested in getting a 20th Silo. The color and the 24-fret neck just weren't my thing. (Stupid reasons, I know.) I was happy with my Luke and my Axis SS.

Then my local dealer happened to get one in. I tried it out due to sheer curiosity, and the sound just blew me away. And that was through a battery-operated Vox toy amp.

The wife said I'd have to sell both my guitars to get a 20th Silo, since we'd bought a new iMac earlier this year.

Guess what? It's a fair trade to me. I've already sold the Axis SS. The Luke will be going next.

Yes, the 20th Silo is that good. :D

With less than 400 produced these things are gonna get pretty rare pretty fast.

Dude, I played one of these today at the Guitar Center in Hollywood today. It was the hardtail no piezo version, flame top & rosewood board...God DAMN! It was really quite light, comfortable neck, and the tone was so sweet. The cleans were supreme, and it distorted really nice.

Beating myself on the head for not jumping on one of these great guitars, and the sad thing is that when i will be able to afford one they will certainly be rare....Maybe i will get lucky:D

A buddy of mine got one for christmas from his wife what a lucky son of gun....I'm not that lucky.
