Alright you have the sunny afternoon off and the guitar needs fresh strings, intonation and a wax. But, oddly enough, your wheels out in front need the same, wash & wax.

Which is it: the car or your MM guitar????

Fill in the blank, my ______________doesn't compare to my ____________when it comes to getting my undivided attention.

I'd rather play with my. . . . . . . . . . . than with my . . . . . . . . . . . !!!

Elaborate if you'd like (plenty of room here).

Good luck:)

I polish my car up more often than my guitars, but that's because the car encounters more. And, to be fair, besides giving the fretboard some wonderwipe attention, who cleans a Sub1? :p

Its cold and wet here so Albert got the day of beauty yesterday. My truck can wait until Spring for wax. But If I lived where its warm and I drove a 911 I would wash and wax the car. my ducati has been winterized so its all about Albert.

I look forward to the day when the Mustang retires to the garage except for on weekends... it'll be much easier to keep clean then :D

My Stang stays in the garage ( I agree on the clean factor...way easier)...it totally gives me more time for my guitars. A dusty Dargie with fingerprints on it? Not mine!

Guitars.

I used to spend tons of $$$ modifying my cars. Engines, Turbos, Exhausts, etc etc... Then I realised, why do that when I'm not keeping the car for more than 5 years at a stretch?

The guitars are far mroe worth keeping man...:D

Well... if it's a beautiful day outside I would honestly rather be outside pampering or driving/racing a vehicle. Right now it's 30ish degrees outside so no pampering/driving/racing vehicles. As of tomorrow night the cuda will be in the paint booth getting the sealer primer - just finished blocking the skim coat - the next step is the high-build primer, followed by more sanding and then the new color. I'm gettin excited!

How funny Pete, looks like my previous bass players garage (car and everything)!!!

However, once he got the car finished, the bass went permanently on the bass stand.

"That's why I'm opposed to bass players owning cars"!!!!

my car is filthy and my guitar is clean. not because one is more important but because when a guitar is dirty it plays like crap. cars drive the same dirty or clean. and when i go to the track i spend half my day in the dirt anyways
