Seriously. I've been jumping to it every ten minutes all day and I don't need another AXIS right now (nor do I have funds). But that was a perfect color and price and was making me think naughty thoughts. So thank you for making the decision for me! :D

It sold via private treaty through an ebay listing I also had up and since last night I had at least ten inquiries about it through ebay alone. When I sell things I try to price them to move. I'm more interested in getting funds in my pocket so I can move on rather than sit on things for a long time hoping to recoup my costs or whatever. The market is what the market is. It was a player but not a beater and I think I priced it fairly. I really hate to see the guitar go, I liked it quite a bit but there's a gorgeous purple Tribute sitting here so all's not lost.

^ the beauty of ebay. you get a ton of exposure to buyers and then you end the auction early and not have to pay any seller fees. i don't know how much longer you'll be able to do that, but it saves you about 6% as a seller.

6%? I only recently re-opened my eBay account and sold a guitar. They took 9%.....then paypal took 3%. I've sold on craigslist ever since.

Jack - you're probably right. I thought I remembered losing about 10% between ebay and paypal fees last time, but it could have been slightly more. It's brutal when you're dealing in $1k+ guitars.

Craigslist is a whole other set of problems for me...mainly all the deadbeats who don't follow thru or show up.

Sorry to hijack.....rant is over.
