Thanks Glen! (or What was THAT!)

So I went to my local GC today, and the EBMM's multiplied! Not only that, they set up a very neat little display in the center of the store! Very cool. They now have a 5 string 25th, a couple of rosewood BFR's, and more!

But here's the kicker: there were a couple of string-thru body Stingray 4 stringers with what looked like Ebony Fretboards... Is this a special run for GC? By the way, one of them was a 2 band EQ model... I'll try to get back maybe next week to get pics.

OOooo, I wonder if he's done anything in the Portland and Seattle stores yet.

Nice. Awesome work G.

I'll be making a visit to three GC's today and tomorrow; the main GC here in Union Square on my lunch break (they have a sweet 25th), then to Long Island City after work (I've seen the same 5 balls there foreeever), and tomorrow out to the new one in Carle Place where I will be picking up a black/black SUB4!!!!

Maybe similar to the German special run (although they had mahogany bodies)

Would be keen to know more. Were the ebony string-thrus priced any higher than standard Stingrays?

Honestly, I tried to ignore the price tag to prevent bass lust. I vaguely recall it being a little higher, but I'll run by tomorrow and take another look.
