I just got home from my first gig at the talent show and it was AWESOME :D . My band totally rocked.. if I may say so myself. My Pet fit in perfectly and I felt like I was meant to be there. Yup you can tell I'm still pretty pumped.:D

We didn't actually win (or place at all) but I really don't care. I didn't even know it was a competition until tonight and high schools today are pretty stacked against rock bands these days anyway (although everyone still loves a great guitarist).

So I just wanted to say some thank yous:
1) To all you forumers who helped me during the wait for my JP, and who have made me feel at home since. And thanks for the "good lucks" in Wish Me Luck.
2) To Ernie Ball for making such amazing and beautiful guitars. :D :D

Someone videotaped the show but it's pretty bad quality and I'm having technical difficulties getting it on my computer but if I figure it out I'll share.

Thanks a lot,
Greenwizard

Good one - I loved playing gigs in my school concerts and watching the teachers squirm!! The 'kids used to love it though!
(sounds like a line from Back to the Future 1/2 lol!)

I remember playing shows in high school. I was referred to as kid that plays guitar.

Glad your show went well for you. Makes you want to play more.

It don't matter how many people you play for once I get on stage I get a huge adrenaline rush. Greatest feeling ever.

My school band 'Utopia' were known in the school as 'The Noise'

Don't we look all young and fresh faced!
