Good stuff Rex! I was gonna PM you soon and find out the scoop on your incoming LE AL, NICE!!!!!!

Whats with the crud on the new shiny frets????

It is super nice, and even has a little figuring on the neck. I'm not sure what is going on with the goo on the frets, but I will clean them up a little when I put some new strings on it.

I can tell you one thing: the finishing on the fret edges is superb, as always. Hell, the whole thing is put together well, neck to pocket fit, the finish, everything. You can even peel the plastic off the pickguard without having little chunks stuck under the pots and every screw (unlike some other manufacturers).

The SLO guys really spoil us...

Thanks Pete!

You're welcome, Rex!

I must have forgotten to wipe the strings down after I touched it. My hands and fingers are so acidic that I can blacken solid strings in 15 minutes, and all my frets are gray, not silver - Nick hates when I swing by store #2 and play a guitar on the wall because it means he has to wipe it down right away or restring it the next morning...

yep, they do good work! I love it how the plastic doesnt get caught up on the post and screws, i'm just scarred from all the Fenders ive owned.
