I just wanted to say thanks to all the forumites who have been showering us with thanks and props. All of your gratitude and appreciation, as well as your enthusiasm for our product and what we do, has been like a jolt of energy and an affirmation to keep on doing our thing. It was so great to meet all of you who play and adore the instruments we work so hard to design and build. It's not every day that you get so many pats on the back like we did this weekend.

Thanks for all of the kind words and coming out to hang for the weekend. Much appreciated!

Now I gotta get back to work....

I have attended most major "events" in the bass community for years now and I have to say that this one tops the list in my book.

Thanks...no, really, just thanks man.

What a cool event it was from start to finish...

Thanks

Hey guys, Biff and all..
Thanks for a fantastic hang. Biff knows how to throw a bash and I know he dug deep into his heart and his wallet to make this happen. I saw some AMAZING playing from all the gang. I had a meltdown that I dont think I recovered from but thats just the amp gremilins and all that sh*t. You all know what its like when your amp blows or whatever. your concentration goes to hell. I guess thats why they make Jack Daniels. hahaha
AND I have to follow Petrucci Morse and Vinnie??? hahaha Not possible!
It was such a groove to meet you all . I like all you guys and hope we are all friends at the end of the day. Hope to see you out there on the road sometime or at NAMM or whatever.
Be well and I will check in from time to time.

Luke, you were awesome, relax man! It was great meeting you :)

Know what's worse than having your amp just not work at all?

Having it randomly stop working for 5-10 seconds at a time for an entire set, and not having another amp to plug into.
(trust me, it's much worse)

And excellent job on Red House, and the other songs you sang btw

I remember first really seeing Steve play on some Hot Licks instructional video years ago and being really impresed with his ability (not having ever really heard him rip anything, only what he'd done with Toto).

Upon meeting him, he's just as nice and as friendly as can be. Literally, just one of the guys. He'll give you a hug, tell you a dirty joke and laugh like there's no tomorrow.

Hell of a guy! :)

Now who thought hanging around with ENGINEERS could be so fun? Hah, hah, ENGINEERS, FUN, get outta town.

(My wife's an engineer so I feel entitled to joke. When she's not around, anyway.)

Luke, baby, I will never forget our first kiss. When you come through Dallas, you let me know. I'll buy you a sandwich if you'll let me smell you just one more time.

It was such a groove to meet you all . I like all you guys and hope we are all friends at the end of the day.

Well, we were maybe having a drink or two or something, and both of us said things we didn't mean, especially about the Motel 6 and the frozen scampi, because I'm not really like that, usually, but I'm certainly honored to call you my friend.

Hey,

It was an incredible weekend, all the way around. Big Poppa is a wonderful host, the staff absolutely RULE, and Luke - don't worry about those amp gremlins - you are such an amazing musician! And you give great hugs.

Plus, we should thank the amp gremlins - after all, how many guitarists can say that their personal live techs at a gig were the team of Dudley and Steve Morse? :D That was an amazing thing to see.

It was great to meet everyone, and I am working on a full report to post as soon as I get a moment or two.

Now, back to reality - I have to go to work, but before that, I need to take my car into the shop. Some kind of engine gremlins. Hmmm. Maybe I should call Dudley and Steve Morse.....

hugs to everyone,
Victrola

Jon, you did a great job on the tour and it was nice to have met you. You guys need a cad data manager, just a suggestion.

BP, what can I say that hasn't already been said. It was a pleasure and a major honor to have meet you and attended this event. Love the Christoper Reeves joke. ;)

Luke, man you ROCK!!! You are an awesome player and man one of the funniest bastards I have ever met. Even with amp problems you still were amazing. I have become a huge fan. You say your not worthy of being on stage with all other guys, your wrong man, way wrong. You deserve it and more. I can see why BP thinks of you as not just friend, but family.

Thanx, Glenn |B)

Man I cannot describe in words how exciting and what an appreciation I have for EBMM, the forum members and the artists. This weekend was a blast!!!! BP, you are a great host along with everyone else at EB. The artists were amazing and Luke you are the funniest most down to earth musician/ celebrity I ever had the pleasure to meet. Don't change!!!!!!!! By the way, my wife thought you were the best player on stage.......I enjoyed meeting all you guys!!!!!!!!

+1 ... but replace the whole "care for a quick 12 bar?? {insert joke here}" part with ... "care to split a 12 pack?"
