So, I've played guitar for years (started in college and will hit the big 4-0 this summer) and have made my way through many guitars made by many companies.

I got into EBMM just about 4 years ago with my first JP. Then, about 2.5 years ago, my JP BFR. I just bought Fingbeagle's AL, and on the spur of the moment hit up my local Guitar Center on Father's Day for a Reflex (the 20% off coupon put me over the edge, well, that and my loving wife encouraging me to get it).

And after all this, what do I want? More!

Good old Keith has his HH Al and his Dargie up for sale.

I WANT them. I know I have a problem. Not a bad problem to have, I suppose, but still...

Help!

Marc

Don't fight it. You have been assimilated. I'm closer to the big 5-0, so there's no hope for you. I gave in to the affliction and bought a second 25th Axis for Father's Day. I want a gold and white Reflex. It never ends. I blame, I mean thank BP.

It's this forum that does it....that and the guitars. You come here, you see all the goodies, and you want more goodies. I wanted 'one'. Now I have six.

You just bummed me out but also did me a favor, since I have been fighting myself from buying Fings AL ever since he put it up for sale. I just bought my PS Y2D six weeks ago and have come to the crossroads. I am going to pull a Slav and start moving some guitars as I have way to many, and am going to downsize quality for quantity as I want a few BFR guitars but seriously have to make some space and sell off some of my other companies axes which is a bit difficult at this time because I dont know if they even know the prices, as they have been changing monthly.lol Congrats on Fings AL though because it is the color I wanted and just a killer ax.

Hi Marc,

welcome and thank you for telling and sharing with us your problem. Please, put your hands together for Marc. Who wants to tell his story next?

Let's see ... 20% price reduction leads to the purchase of a third Ball ... Marc's price elasticity of demand appears to be about -2.5. Not too bad!

Go for another!

Its just that they are all so great! They all make different sounds that are great...I know what kind of tone I am looking for based on my style and the way I play, but I love playing a different guitar that has some other tonal characteristics. Its also inspiring sometimes to alternate guitars, because it makes me play differently and I get excited to hear different sounds coming from each guitar. Variety is great...especially when it comes to Balls because there are so many to choose from...tonality wise and visual aspect as well. How many options do we have now BP? ;)
