We are all really so proud. So I am finally unveiling the Axi that live here at the Norm-a-thon. The Pacific Blue Burst is the one that Paul Bunyon cut down the tree for off of ebay. And the Sport is the only Purple Piezo trem that I have ever heard of. For my records, could DOB's be established please?

Wow! That Pacific blueburst top is cool. Nicer than mine I must say.

Hey, isn't that the couch Norm drinks beer and watches porn on?

No no, I have an aptly named LazyBoy Recliner just for that task. Notice the couch looks clean.

Do you know if this was a special order top?

For all pratical purposes I must say yes. I must say this is the best quilt top I have ever seen in my life. That is why I bought THIS one. I think of it as water at night. The dealer at obsession Guitars in PA listed it on eBay. Even though I was the high bidder, the reserve had not been met. I called him on the phone after the auction and we worked out the deal. He's a great person and I still call him from time to time to see how it's going. I have never heard of any one being dissapointed with a special order top. Still, this is the best I have ever seen. I would hate to try to have it replaced.

Norm....The Axis dob-3/28/03 the Sport 6/02/00

And that sir, is why you are my hero. Thank You Jon!

I went in as far as my knee once. I was scared to go any further without a PFD. When I got this guitar I decided to learn some VanHalen. (That stuff is fun to play) This made the d-tuna a must. I even leave this one a half step down so I can play along with the discs. This guitar sounds so much like VH's that some times I can't decide if I hear me or Eddie playing.;)

Wow...I thought that looked familiar. I was eyeing that one on ebay myself but just did not have the cash to spend on it at the time. As I recall he had some other guitars listed at about the same time. One was an awesome blue flametop Axis, along with some EVH striped guitars.
