I can see how that "rosewood" look on those may not appeal to some. It kinda has the veneer/paneling look. I agree with the above post they look nice with MM90s.

How much rosewood are we talking here for the cap? Do you owners notice a warmer/richer tone?

I am primarily a bassist(EBMM 5 stringers only!) but I absolutely LOVE my all rosewood Axis Super Sport.

I brought it to work(Sweetwater Sound) and all of the guitarists that had a chance to play it were instant fans and when I told them how much I payed for it(I also got a great deal) they asked me to let them know if I ever decided to sell it. They are AWESOME guitars. :cool:

I spent about a half an hour with one at GC and was all set to buy but somehow the Luke got my money for tonal options and sexiness. I still want one in a hardtail.

beaver over at basscentral got one in hardtail.. he wont sell it to me since im not in the us!

give it a good home! ;)

An MM90 model is certainly an option, but I'll need to free up some unused gear first. There is a couple an the bay too right now with low reserve.
