Here are some recordings (Thanks to Alva for pointing me towards putfile.com) that I did with The Cast back in '93. The Cast consisted of Myles Cohen (guitar, lead vocals) who had won a Juno Award in '75, Mike Sodders (keyboard), Bill Thornton (drums) and me on bass and back-up vocals. "Can You Give It All To Me" is a reprise of one of the songs that he and Lenny won the Juno for, but I think "Wait" is my favorite.

Nice, I gotta agree with the good tone. The songs are very well put together, sounds like a solid band playing and not just a mesh of individuals.

Cool songs and great playing, Larry. "Can You Give It All To Me" and "Said Too Much Too Fast" are my favorites. CYGIATM has an undeniable 80s vibe that I love. It's like "Survivor meets Foreigner" to me. Very nice!

Hey Larry! Its Mike -- I was so surprised to see these 4 tunes posted here -- and that you had posted 'em!

I hope you've been well. I got in touch with Bill through MySpace. I'm in Florida now.

Do you think you could email those files to me? -- I lost my copy somewhere between here and Texas.

Its not realy a good idea to post an email address, because then you start getting spam! But mine is my first and last name (no dot, just one word) at gmail.

I'd love to hear from you again.

By the way, just for the record, my favorites were always "Can You Give It All To Me", and "Maybe I Said Too Much Too Fast" (I do wish we'd had an actual Hammond for that one, though, but as I recall, we were on a tight budget!)

Take care.

-- Mike

Hmmm page only opens up 1/2 way for me. I can see where to leave comments, and other related links, but the video/audio in the center of the page don't come up? Do I have to have an account there?

Larry Im sure you would have found him at nutrisystems.....Stick areounde more this is where your friends are no matter how much you weigh!

I'm sure that I'll find my passion for playing bass again sometimes, but for now I'm on an extended break. After making the decision to leave Railhead I found that I was really burned out and needed to take some time away from music and bass playing. I don't spend much time here because it's hard to talk about music related things right now. I do miss my friends though and I try to check up on everyone from time to time. I haven't liquidated any gear yet and I know that no matter what, I'll keep my DD SR5. It means too much to me and it is such a fantastic bass that I can't imagine being without it.

Oh, I wouldn't be doing my job as a remunerated spokesperson unless I corrected you by telling you that it's Nutrisystem, no s. ;):D
