Well, here they are. Just so you know, the neck is pulled back like that due to my investigating. The truss rod bent after the neck basically "popped" from the wood splitting and me bending it back a little. I am such disbelief as to the amount of damage that was done.....still shaking my head. I did not actually watch the guitar fall, but it looks like it was ripped off the stand by a hurricane..... :(

Wow...That hurts! FWIW, at least it's not a matching headstock with inlays..That would be WAY more expensive to replace.

OUCH!

Man I feel for you. I didn't realize it was that bad when I first read your other thread. Lucky it's not your only axe. :( (you do have others right!?)

Yeah, I have two other JP's and a couple of Ibenhads......but still, this was one I really liked. It was my "metal" guitar....... :(

Dude, you know that feeling like when an accident happens and your hoping you get to see something, but when you do, you regret it...well man I regret asking for those pics, that hurt...honestly I feel kind of sick. Sorry Koog, would a simple solution be to get a new neck? Ooooo dude, was it plugged in when it happened, and was the volume up...it must have screamed something aweful, did you atleast record it? Awe sorry man, I'm just trying to make you feel a little better.

Well, the plug was in it and on a single guitar stand....both are something I never do (except this time). It was hooked up to my POD and I left the chord in. It was not on, and no, I did not get a recording of it. I actually had my clean channel on practicing some classical. I feel sick looking at it.....but, it is a reminder right now until I get some answers to some questions before I send it in. :(

this is tragic. big poppa cant you help this guy and give him some kind of price break on the repair. he is one of the biggest supporters of music man guitars on this forum and it would be a cool move on your part. i know its a business and all but come on and help a brother out.

Koogs, all I can say is ... sorry to hear it! (On the plus side, it's going to play sweet with a new neck and all pimped out.)

Ouch! Those pictures actually made me recoil and wince

I really feel for you, mate. The whole scene as it played out must've been gut wrenching.

I'm off to hug my EBMM for a while.

Koogs, sorry to see that - you need to put a pic up of the guilty party... :)

I'd agree there, lets see a pic of the dog with the remains of the neck. We'll determine if he looks sorry or not.
