Just got back from seeing the Eagles in Toronto on their History of the Eagles tour. Great show, almost 3 hours long, they sounded pretty damn good, and Bernie Leadon is back! If they're coming to your town it's well worth seeing just for musicianship alone! Honestly I mostly went for Walsh as he's a bucket list guy I hadn't got around to seeing yet. I know he's played music man guitars for a while now but figured I'd drop in and mention what he was playing tonight. He had a freaking beautiful Pink Sparkle Axis Super Sport hard tail which he played on a couple of songs and a white Silhouette modded to Tele specs for the solo on Hotel California... sounded awesome. Don't recall his name but the session guy who was filling in Don Felders parts (I really wish Felder was there, sorely missed) played almost exclusively an HH Silo in Sunburst and during Hotel California where Felder would play a white double neck SG, this dude played a white double neck Silhouette! Pretty freakin' awesome if you don't ask me ;)

Wonder why Walsh hasn't done an artist model with EBMM, he seems to dig them! :D

The Eagles are, as I've always said, are among the top notch guitarists in the world. Their guitar parts are some of the best ever written. And, they are not easy to emulate to perfection. It's no surprise what brand they incorporate into their tours.

EBMM instruments are recognized by genuine players!

Yep that's him, he really was very good, thanks for the tip I'll check him out... couldn't find his info on the Eagles site.

Didn't even know they were in town ... sheeet.

They're back in November tickets are on sale now... selling out fast, last night was a sell out crowd at ACC.

about 6 years back, saw Joe use a Petrucci as he played the national anthem at a laker game. Blew me away.
Side note: That history of the Eagles doc is really great viewing. Joe and Glen are especially entertaining in their commentary.

The way they have six degrees of Kevin Bacon they could do the same with Walsh lol, the guy has had a pretty amazing career from selling Page his #1 to running for president. He is connected in one way or another to so many legendary parts of rock history it is pretty mind boggling- Joe Walsh - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One of my favorite songs growing up was Walk Away by The James Gang and Walsh looks like he was the real Jeff Spicoli in the known live performance vid lol.The Eagles were always a great band but he gave them a little harder edge that took them to another level. I knew Joe played EBMM guitars and more and I see more and more legendary players with them every passing year. The double neck Silo's seemed to have garnered a rep as the double neck to play.
