I was lucky enough to get 9th row floor tickets to see the Eagles in Peoria. If you all didn't know Don Felder is not touring with the band, so they are using another guitar player. I can't remember his first name, but his last name is Smith.

Anyway, the guy is a big Music Man nut. Here is a rundown of the Ernie Balls he had:

-Vintage Sunburst Axis Sport with MM90s and vintage trem.
-Natural Flame-top Axis Super Sport w/ vintage trem.
-Cherry-Burst Silhouette with two humbuckers w/gold covers and a vintage trem.
-White Double Neck Silhouette (12 string and 6 string) for Hotel California

It was an awesome show, btw.

Just a question here.

Not that I have, but if I had a 'Bucket load of money' would EBMM be prepared to make such one offs for me? Or do you do it because of the exposure that this gives EBMM?

Just curious!

wow that's great for the company to have a such a loyal cutomer
like Steuart Smith who does alot of high profile gigs.
It would be nice to see some pictures of special order guitars being made for special customers. The customer's name would not have to be mentioned.

Yeah, that would be "money" as the kids say...

Jon, I have a quick question for you. How many of these one off guitars do you guys make in a year. I mean the list of guitarists that use your stuff is pretty exhaustive, so how many of them rate getting a special made guitar?

Just wondering...

We don't make many..John Petrucci has a double neck, Dave La Rue has a Bongo with a tremolo, but most of our artists play EXACTLY what you guys buy.

Actually, that is really awesome! I mean I love my Sil, and would never trade it away, but I never really think of myself as a pro player. I mean my home computer is much weaker than my work one. But to know that the big time Pro Guitarists use the same gear is pretty cool. I guess that is why EBMM is such a great brand...

Or it could be that crazy looking Eagle.

I guess it just depends on who you are talking too...

I hope you guys don't get too busy making that fancy stuff for the rock stars! Us humble boys are waiting for orders too! I'm just kidding, I know you guys work your asses off! I'm just antsy, I was told my Petrucci Seven String was due end of July, hopefully.

Hey Jon, he seemed to favor the Silhouette with the two gold covered humbuckers. That guitar sounded and looked awesome. I was wondering if you could disclose what kind of pickups were installed in that particular guitar.

Thanks.

You guys need to setup a meal plan jammy. Like when you buy 10 coffees and get the 11th free. If I buy 10 guitars can I get a hookup?

I remember that there was a company that was doing a 10% discount for every customer you brought to them. I think it was Catalyst guitars, but I am not sure. That would be a sweet deal! Find 10 people to get Music Man guitars and you get one free! You would need to have a lot of guitar playing friends.
