Admittedly, it wouldn't work for one of those big honkin' WWE World Champion sized buckles, but for a standard belt, this works well.

You need one belt, one waist, and one sweatband.

Dude. Much simpler solution. Just put your belt on with the buckle to the side. Been doing it for years with great results. ;) :D

Am I the only person that doesn't care about buckle scratches? I kinda like a guitar that looks like its been played. I think it gives the guitar a personality or some character. I dunno. I just think that wear and tear on my guitar is just a link directly between myself and my guitar. It kinda tells a story. Thats just me.

Things to never do:
1) Let the keyboard player use his left hand
2) Let anyone tell you your fretless is not in tune
3) Loan Brewer a bass
:p :p :p

hahaha. I just ruined my keyboard i think. I was just trying to drink this diet coke when i read that. It went everywhere. I didn't mean to sound like my basses were in pieces, I just like a lil wear on them. It's not like the first thing I do is tie a rope around the headstock of my guitar as soon as I buy them and drag it to my house from the music store. Although I might try it. Loan me your bass and I'll drive it around the block a couple times and I'll let you know how it goes.

Brewer, I think you just uncovered how the F*nder CS does their "relic"ing! :p

Oh, yeah, and the groupies can wipe their sweat away with it, too ;)
I wonder what's making them work up such a sweat? ;)

I bought one of those relic strats once, not that i'm a guitarist, and it played like they drug it behind their delivery truck from the factory to guitar center.

As far as the groupies working up a sweat, they're probably hard at work making "jewelry"

Don't ever get a belt buckle in the shape of a steering wheel.
I had one once and that thing drove me nuts.

Colin.

i find that the big piece of plastic that covers the preamp and the two 9v battery boxes on the bongo protect the lack of wood right there pretty well
