We bought a house on the lake, the wife loves the view, I love the 2000 square foot unfinished basement. A man need his own space and a man with 12 EBMM basses needs a safe place to keep them, presenting the Bass Vault. It's still under construction but should be finished this week. It is 25 feet under ground and has OSB going behind the sheetrock, I got tired of trying to find studs to mount bass hangers. Here's a few pictures of the work in progress...

Yeah there will be my keyboards and wind controller stuff and maybe even the grand piano, but it IS a bass guitar vault! 15X30 pure man cave! :D

Nice work, I did the same thing when we built our house. A very worthwhile decision!

I'm thinking the next Knucklehead party needs to be here. The dock looks big enough to be a stage. :D

Very impressive man cave! Looks like it will be a sweet place to keep your collection. My man cave lost some of its charm as I have to keep my fitness equipment in there along with my basses. So instead of some comfy leather chairs, I have a home gym and a tradmill so it kind of smells like swass. But as I tell my wife, its actually the smell of Victory! :)

That's like being buried with your basses while you're actually still alive.
