Ok as some of you know, I lost my Mom very unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago. She was/is a great person who meant the world to me, pretty much the perfect Mom, I miss her and always will.

To honor Her memory I went in search of a guitar just for Her.
I knew what I was looking for just had to be in stock somewhere.
One of thethings she enjoyed was collecting Amethyst glassware, she had a very large collection some of it quite old and rare.

So the criteria was an Amethyst Burst, quilt, and was looking for a luke or Axis Super Sport, I quickly found what I was looking for.

So here is the Evelyn Guitar a BFR Luke.

Want to thank Beaver at Bass Central for working with me on this, first time dealing with them and he helped me in every way possible. Wont get into the details but he went out of his way to help me get this guitar.

Plus as a cool bonus it is signed by the Man himself, totally unexpected.
Now pics of the Evelyn

That is a beautiful tribute to your mom. It's a great way to remember her while you do something you love. Nice job.

Keith, that is one hot Luke. And as a tribute to your mother, that just makes it even more special. I love Amethyst Burst and that guitar is a perfect example. You've done momma proud, buddy.

Nice guitar and nice story Fing.

BTW, my mother's name is also Evelyn and she means a lot to me as well. Best wishes my friend.

Awesome guitar and a very nice tribute.

Sorry to hear about your loss...I lost my mom 3 years ago to cancer so I know what you are going through. Hang in there.
