Has to be by far the ernie ball truss rod wheel .. i mean who wants to go through a process of removing a cover plate on the head stock .. I just want to say THANK YOU .. for making great guitars and making them even better .. little improvements mean greater things ...

I agree! This design is one of the smartest for guitars I can think of. Just a brilliant idea and it's implemented perfectly! I have seen other manufacturer's start to mimmic this design - what's that old saying about imitation?!?

I love the truss rod, but I'd have to say greatest invention is the Totino's Party Pizza.

The truss rod adjuster comes a close second to the infamous Cardiff Clarks pie, the only pie in the world to have pastry that does not soak up the rich gravy and the gastronomes amongst you will realise that the Cardiff Connoisseur will cut around the perimeter of the pie lid before dipping their chips into the rich meat and gravy filling. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Niiiiiice!

Wee sleekit timorous beastie,
To eat ye is a treatstie.
Wi your Golden Broon Coat,
You're like a tiny Welsh boat.

Tis a wondrous joy to unlid ye,
Your rich broon fillin to then see.

To be dipped to be knibb-led,
To be slurped and to be sipp-led.

Forever a beacon of delicious crusty hope,
To be revered and eaten by both genius and dope.

Ye are a Prince amongst pies,
Your legend fadeth not nor ever dies.

+1 on that statement. As a collector of many various guitars, I find myself ignoring the guitars in my collection that I can't quickly set up like my Music Man guitars. My tech and I were just talking about this last night - best guitar improvement in recent history IMO. Great job.

yes the living truss rod is a good one. but the Corndog or Krusty pup is still king.
