two things: 1. For me Luke is the greatest guitar player ever (not a shredder or virtuoso), but the guy who does it all at such a high standard. My lifetime inspiration.
2. That Luscious Green LIII is absolutely amassing, I even have some regrets getting my BFR and not that one :)

Lukes always a riot, such a funny guy and one of the nicest people I've ever met. Super humble.

Kev, thanx for sharing.

Saw him at the Grammy Museum interview/concert he did a while back. During the meet and greet, he sure seemed tall! I'm 5'5" so maybe everyone is a giant compared to me…

Great interview. BTW, does anyone use EB strap locks like Steve has? I had some but don't use them because I don't like how far the strap is away from the body. It seems like too much unnecessary stress on that screw. I forgot about them until this video and it reminded me of them.

I have two sets of them, but stopped using them because of the reason you listed. I use the Allparts Oversized Strap Buttons instead. Nothing fancy, but keeps the strap on better without any mods or fussing.

I like the type of strap locks he uses. Easy to swap straps among guitars... and I find it really nice to have that "space" to tuck the cable from the jack out over the bottom strap pin, without it getting bound up like it does when the strap is tight against the guitar body.

I remember comparing strap locks a few years back, Schaller old style (copied by Fender) vs new (S-locks), Dunlop, and Ernie Ball Super Locks (also copied by Fender). Seems to me they all extend about the same distance from the body. Personally, I prefer the EB super locks. If that kind of lock system isn;t your thing, there are always the rubber grommit/Grolsch-style strap blocks which EB now offers in a bazillion colors.
