Well, I finally managed to pick up my JP DD from Machinehead yesterday.

In accordance with house rules, please see below a pic of said instrument relaxing in yesterday's evening sunshine.

Strangely enough, it's a great guitar with a great neck! I'll give it a run out at Saturday night's Vulture Squadron gig.

Thanks to DaveB for the warm welcome and chat about 'gigs we have known', and no thanks to DaveB for getting me thinking more about BFRs!:D

Hopefully see you at the Tony Levin clinic.

Nice snare Bungo !
I was talking to Higgins today and he was saying that you'd got hold of 'Some kind of Martini Olive guitar'. ha ha If only he knew...
I still say that a DD Axis would've looked cool.

What is a Dargie exactly??
A Dargie Delight was a limited run of EBMM guitars offered to us in that martini olive green colour you saw with special martini glass shaped inlays. It was a colour of a guitar owned by Scott Ball (Sterling Balls son, Ernie Balls grandson) and featured in his avatar. Sterling graciously bowed to our constant requests to bring back that colour for a short time. I personally regret not getting one for myself...
