Ok the Bongo is an awesome bass. You can get it in about a zillion different variations, color, pickguard, piezo, pickup config etc. But will there ever be a maple fretboard option? See now that the dual pickup Sterlings and StingRays are coming out, I feel like the Bongo's going to be short an option. I'm just a maple guy who wants to join the Bongo club, Please tell me there's hope...

Unfortunately I don't think so I think MM tried it but didn't like the look or sound or something.

What I want is a maple fretless Stingray or sterling

i would think that it would look right. the bongo is post to look modern and a maple fretboard just would look....70's..imho

I know you would Andrew. As for me, I was thinking Rad Red/Black Pearloid HH Bongo with maple board. C'mon BP make it happen :D
