So i've been thinking about a guitar that slipped through my fingers and i just missed it.

It was a Mint Green Silhouette Special at GC of Hollywood... for a really great price and I just missed it.


Any similar stories...


Plus side is i can now safely order an AX40 without doing too much dammage.

A few years back I went to a GC that was clearing out 2 Axises. They wanted $950 each. It still hurts to talk about it.

just last week. mint condition black axis on ebay. it sold for $860. still kicking myself HARD!

I only know the feeling getting sniped out on an auction on Ebay. If I walk into a store and stumble on something I definitely do not want to lose out on and if I am short, I will give the salesman a $100 and tell him I want it and will be back in an hour. Never failed the three times I used that one. On the other hand I have been burnt nicely a few times on Ebay when it did not seem possible I could lose as I only bid once. I have been sniped a good 4 times after bidding with 7 seconds or less and two of those times I got really drained lmfao. It has been a few years since I have bought a guitar on Ebay but the last few times I made sure no one was beating me, which can also be a dangerous thing to do.

i looked at the Silo and it's my dream guitar... Mint Green Silo Special and just missed out... tears are still fresh LOL
