Wow, I didn't notice you were from K-Town. I am a little familiar. Spent a few nights in the Hohenecken Inn... I think that's what it was called. A Gasthouse outside of K-town near an old castle. We had a fantastic time there. My branch in the AF had a small radar site near there too. Unfortunately I could never get assigned to it. We traveled to Maastricht and then to other parts from there. The Mosel area of GE, Lux, Belgium, Netherlands and eastern FR were excellent places to visit and whoop it up.

I've been on the base, bought my share of electronics and had my share of brews. Also been up and down the Mosel a couple of times in October. Heh heh heh....

It's not a question of the consumer not being allowed to order something but of the dealer being allowed to ship the guitar to another country...The Twelfth Fret seems to be allowed to ship to Germany, that's what their homepage says (they even provide a link for currency conversion) and that's exactly what happened here!
I can say for sure that the US dealers are not allowed to ship to other countries but can't say whether this applies to canadian dealers in general as well. At least The Twelfth Fret seem to be allowed to ship internationally. As I mentioned before, I don't want the guys at The Twelfth Fret to get into any kind of trouble, I did not talk them into shipping the guitar, it just so happens that they ship internationally on a regular basis so I guess they know what they do...! So that's how it left Canada and got to Germany.

Damn I can't believe I didn't go to the Fret and check that one out while it was in stock. May be the best looking AL I've ever seen. Again ... nice score!
