Okay, the purple thing was fun at first. Then it began to get REALLY dark and it was terrifically easy to just not clean it, because I couldn't see the dust and stuff. So I've turned over a new leaf, along with installing a new AC and beginning to revamp everything that was on the walls.

During the painting session:

First thing to go up is a photo of BP and I at Open House, blown up to 8x10 and framed nicely. This one:

I think it's a nice way to start things off anew.

Cheers!

the not purple anymore,

Jack

That'll look great Jack. When it's time for a change, it's just time. I never noticed in other pics that you wear your bass that high - about the same place I like mine.

I don't really wear it that high. Sterling had just handed it to me and it had a strap attached, and I think he'd adjusted it to it's highest point because he knew I sort of played 'em high, generally.

I've lowered it substantially over the last few years.

Still a geek, though, just ask Sterling!

For the record, when I put it on, I nearly knocked my front teeth out.

Kinda hard to look cool after that, huh? But I'm sure you pulled it off - hell, you're being given a bass by Sterling Ball, along with some nice words, if I remember correctly from seeing the video clip at some point. Hard NOT to look cool, given those circumstances - front teeth or no. :)

Yeah, looking again, that is pretty darn high. Mine actually hangs a few inches below the belt-line. (I know it's too easy, but don't go there, for those of you who would).

wow a pic o me with a beer...thats rare. It didnt used to be rare

With or without the beer, it's one of my absolute favorites. Hey, I FRAMED it and the wife said, "Sterling gets a nicer frame than the photo of me? Nice."

So I have to go buy some more frames.
