Funny how getting my JP6 has made me want to upgrade everything. At the mo all I use is my guitar into a VOX wah into a Boss DS1 into the amp. And I have a Boss RV3 on the effects loop. My amp is a fairly old (mid to late 80's) F3**er Dual Showman. I will be changing my amp but still haven't decided on what to get instead. Although, I may keep the showman for the clean sounds which aren't half bad. It's the gain channel that lacks for the stuff I like to play, hence the DS1.

So here's what I'm going to try and compile over the coming months. I'm not too savvy when it comes to this sort of thing so any advice on what i might swap around or even get instead would be much appreciated. :)

TU2 - Chromatic Tuner
NS2 - Noise Suppressor
RV3 - Reverb Delay
DD20 - more Reverb and more Delay

Also, as you can see I'm not sure what the 3rd output on the splitter box is for:confused:

I don't have an EB splitter i have another type, but as far as I know, the splitter takes your signal in and splits it into 2 not 3.
For example, one out to a PA or Acoustic amp for the piezo, and the other one out to your Fender amp for the mags, via your array of pedals.

I only put "where does this go?" because this pic shows three outputs. Unless they're inputs???
I think it's one input (stereo) and two outputs (mono) - three jacks total... I haven't actually seen one in person, though, so I could be wrong...

It is in fact I input and 2 outputs, you have 4 jacks on your picture you drew...You need a stereo chord to run from your guitar also in order to run it to the splitter box.

ooooooooh i seeeeeeeeeee. I thought there was another jack socket on the other side. DOH! And yes, I'll be ordering a stereo cable. A MM one when i order the A/B box. So, anyhoo, any opinions on what's missing or if this looks like it's setup right and will work would be fab!

Two things: You should probably run the NS2 in the loop. Also, you should put the TU2 in the tuner out of the volume pedal. That would get two pedals out of your signal path from the guitar to the amp. Also, if you get an amp with reverb, you could ditch the RV3.

Put the splitter box first in the signal chain.

i.e. go from the guitar to the splitter, then take the magentic output of the splitter to the rest of your pedalboard. (And the piezo output of the splitter into a DI box and then to the PA system.)
