Just to clarify - the AL uses a standard CRL switch. The only way to get "in-between" positions is if the switch uses what's called a "make-before-break" mechanism, which the AL switch doesn't have. Apparently, the Silhouette Special uses a different switch, maybe a Schaller Megaswitch?

Uvacom, thanx, but Pete's AL isn't a standard AL. It's configuration is HSS, a former EBMM employee model. So there might be a chance that the employee used a Silhouette Special switch.

Only Pete can tell us that. :D
