I was out on tour promoting our lead spot on a compilation album. At the time I was playing a Marshall JMP50 combo (still have it) on top of a 2x12 cabinet. Our set is ready to start and I'm all pumped up. I start playing the first song at the back of the stage near my amp and just as the crowd comes to the front of the stage I rush forward to meet them. Very quickly (as I was flying backwards through the air) I noticed the bass player standing on my guitar cable which was just before I crashed backwards into my amp toppling both cabinets like a house of cards. So I lay there on my back - on top of my amp and cab - with a 12 inch speaker blasting into my ears until the first break in the song that allowed me to get back up.

Man I was so cool (not). That night turned into a Tequila night for me. I've never been so embarrassed.
