Well, after much deliberation, some of which you witnessed, I gave up and ordered the white SR4 and finally got some pictures of it. Yes, BP was right, it weighs about seventeen pounds but now I'm ashamed to do anything but keep it and play it all the time.

And then full frontal nudity:

Jack,

When (notice I didn't say "if") you decide to sell that one, keep me in mind. That's one sexy bass.. especially for a sexually ambiguous one. :D

I've got a white SR5 with an abalone guard that rivals this one's sexiness...

Mmmm, abalone, eh? That's something to think about.

The "chair" is actually a love seat of some type, although you better really love whoever's on it with you. My mother in law had all this nasty Louis the whatever stuff built by hand in South America, and she had TONS of it, mostly in red velvet and other fab finishes. When we got married, she said to Erika, "I want you to take some of this handmade stuff...."

Erika was mortified. But I was intrigued. "Would you mind if I had it refinished?" She said no, not at all.

I said, "What if it's done in leopard?"

Not only did the mother in law love the idea, she helped me find a place to do it.

Erika remained mortified. I think she still hates the stuff (I have that one you can see and two matching chairs), but it's somehow migrated out into the public area of the house. (She used to make me hide it in the studio.)

Hey. I think it's cool.

Beth, if you have no photo host, send 'em to me via email and I'll give you the URL for them.

I wants to see me some white with abalone.

Chuck, a fake leopard would rip your throat out a lot quicker than one of those real ones.

They're mean, I'm telling you. Don't kid yourself.
