I just wanted to take a moment to say what an awesome guitar the standard silo is. I have owned a few and always appreciated them, but I was able to do a trade to get myself back into one... a dargie II... and It is just such a killer guitar that seems pretty at home with many styles. The silo doesn't seem to get as much love as it deserves.

This is the first one I have had with a trem, and maybe it is my mind playing tricks one me, but I blocked it off with a piece of wood and I seem to like the sound better than the hardtails. It seems not as upfront, and a little breathier... Again, probably in my head.

But anyway, yea. Silhouettes are great. I want another. Thanks EBMM for building 'em!

Here a pic from yesterday´s rehearsal. Shows my current setup with my fantastic JTM45 combo amp, the TC Nova System and the VOX wah. And of course my white Silo which is a real superb guitar which suits so many stiles.

I also think it´s a underrated guitar. I love her more than the Silo Spec I had before.

Here are some pics of mine. I couldn't capture the green while using the flash, so it looks carmel colored right now. This is an awesome finish.

It looks harder on the pic than the real thing. I got it used and I think the former owner was a workout junkie ;).

I love it! To me there is nothing better than a worn in guitar. I only wish I had the time to "work out" my guitar necks to that point.

will you still change it into a T-style guitar when you love it that much?

Not at the moment. This time I´m very happy with it because it suits perfect for my style of music. And it has a lot of "spank" and "twang" with the SC-options. When you´re looking at Johnny Hiland it also can a lot of T-Style. Unfortunately I´m not JH (I don´t want to look like him but he´s playing fantastic ;) ).

Silhouettes are the best!

OK truth be told I have a Silhouette Special and a 20th Silhouette.... but still the Silhouette guitars are simply the best in my opinion.
