So, I'm going to ask you all to take a little time and think about your personal top ten songs, I mean what songs mean something for you? I know for me, music is everything without it I'm like a bird without wings or a football player without legs.
This is my top 10 songs off ALL time. ( I'm starting with the number 10 )\
10. Grateful Dead - Fire on the mountain ( Dead set version, just sumblime! First kiss memories....
)
9. Booker T and the MG's - Green onions. ( Don't tell me you don't know this song, I mean the ultimate groove song. BRING BACK THE 60's!! )
8. Crosby Stills Nash and Young - Sea of Madness ( I love you so much it almost brings me sadness )
7. Mountain - Beside the sea ( Whatever happened to mountain, this song is just sublime and carried out by arguably the fattest rock star ever. )
6. Green Day - Road to acceptance ( Growing up is a bitch, at least you'll have the 39/smooth album to back you up. What great memories! The first green day album and as with so many artist, their best. )
5. Anvil - March of the Crabs ( This is song is fun to play. Anvil. The most overlooked metal band in the world, they should have been as famous as metallica. My beer drinking number. )
4. Israel vibration - Red eyes ( No comment.... )
3. Rodrigo Y Gabriela - Tamacun ( Woohoo, this is THE shizzlewizzle. What a classic by two virtuoso guitarists )
2. Grateful dead - Dark Hollow ( Well blow your whistle freight train. Take me far on down the track. I'm going away, I'm leaving today hey, I'm going but I aint coming back. )
1. Rush - 2112 ( This one was hard.. I had to choose between The Twilight zone and 2112. But, because 2112 is basically more then one song I chose it as my favorite. Rush is just THE band. Epic, legendary, genius, sublime you name it. All in one. )
Well this is my personal top ten. Tell me what you think and send in your own top ten
Cheers,
Pete
