I recently swapped the necks on my two 5 string Bongos since I've been wanting to have a fretted HSC(p) Bongo for a while now.
The black sapphire neck looks great (IMO) with the white body and black pickguard. The white neck with the black sapphire body?
I had a white pearl pickguard that I put on there so the white headstock wasn't so....lonely.
You'll also notice just how much different the satin white for the neck and the white for the Bongo body are--when I got the bass 6 years ago, they were the same color having been supervised in a special batch by Dargie who then removed white from the available Bongo colors because it was such a PITA to get them to match. And, now after all that work, the body still decided to change colors. I don't blame them for no all-white Bongos.
Although--I still think that white could be offered for Bongos with a black neck. You have the Stealth Bongos--you can add the Tuxedo Bongo and have an entire line of Secret Agent basses.
