yep thats a great clip, the Showtime dvd is amazing. you get 1 dvd of the concert, then you the other dvd of UFO live in the studio doing a heap of songs. AWESOME!!

whats cool is how UFO have taken some of Vinnie's instrumental tunes off previous allbums and put lyrics to them, now they sound even better!!!!!!!!

wow, that is a great clip. Vinnie sounds really good - don't you love the slide toward the end? The tone! The control!

Thanks for sharing, Foggy!

That's an understatement. He's been spiraling out of control for years. He was supposed to play here at the Ram's Head in November but apparently he's cancelled the entire tour. From what I've heard and read over the years he's a real whack job. It's a shame too because he has so much talent.

But! UFO isn't missing a beat by bringing on Vinnie, smart move and I think it will keep those guys around for a few more years. Vinnie brings a lot to the table and I can't wait to hear the new stuff.

Hey Tom, if you're reading this, what pickups did Vinnie slap into the SC slots on his Silo?

The UFO album 'Strangers in the Night' is one of the all time great Live Rock albums. Great songs, good sound and brilliant playing. Anyone remotely interested in rock guitar should buy this album

Buying a ticket for a UFO gig was always a bit risky. Probably a 50/50 chance of them all showing up and playing at all, and then the gig could be anywhere from fantastic to terrible.

I don't think it was just 'Mad Micky' responsible for this either. I think Phil Mogg and Pete Way also had long periods of 'unpredictability' as far as I remember!
