The wait =(

It's so much harder on me to wait on my Axis Super Sport now that it should be almost done.
I was told that if it all goes well, I should ship in about 1 week.

err.... so painful
Can someone loan me one of their Axis???

btw, does A.S.S. have coil split or coil tap on their humbucker?
And what is the difference?

It's got a 5 way switch that, in 2 postions, gives you a split coil from each humbucker combined. So you don't get the sound of a single split pickup, but the combinations are noise-free.

Figured you'd know this if you'd ordered a new one, though.

Hang on just a bit longer! It's worth the wait.

EBMM is shipping it out TOday or Monday.
WOw, I can't wait. this is just tooo exciting.
I'm guessing it's still going to be around 2 weeks since it takes good 5 days to ship to dealer and another 5 days for it to arrive in my place.
But hey, atleast it's done. I even got the serial number already.

HA ... i feel you buddy. i have a bunch of gear and no band right now so sometimes ill stare at the piles of cases in my room, wonder why i have no walking space and think "damn, do i need all this gear?" (that's before i realize i have a pile of amps in the garage). then i start some home recording project and go from one axe to another trying to find the right sound and realize "yup i do need 15 guitars".

now im trying to find the funds/justification for an Axis SS. I played the hell out of an Axis at the SF GC this weekend (even the the fret board was dirtier than all hell and the high E was broken). the neck has me hooked ... to me it feels like a mini-Sterling
