OK, admitting up front that there is no real MM content here but just something I had to share with all the guitarists on here.

I went to see Roger Waters current production of The Wall on Thursday at the O2 in London.

A fantastic show took a step up to another dimension when unannounced who should show up on top of the Wall during Comfortably Numb, than Mr David Gilmour.

As you would expect, the whole place went crazy at a sight that few ever expected to see again, namely Waters and Gilmour playing on stage together.

Just to cap it off Nick Mason popped on stage with a tambourine at the end to join in with Outside the Wall.

Still attempting to pick my jaw up off the floor..:D

Some footage here if you want to see it for yourself. A really special moment that I will never forget.

That had to be a hell of a surprise for everyone. Could just possibly be the right time or the right amount thrown there way for a future tour, as it would easily be the biggest tour of the year. Hey if the Police could stand on the same stage for two hours why not.

Awesome.

I bet there was that moment for everyone when they were sat thinking, "...... nah, it's not...... is it?"

Good times.

Thanks Joe. I feel really lucky that I happened to go that night. Almost certainly a moment never to be repeated.

Sadly I don't think Gilmour has any interest in hooking up with Waters again for a tour or an album, even if the relationship is cordial between them now. From what I've read, he's much happier playing on a smaller scale without all the attention, hype, publicity and hassle that a full-on Pink Floyd reunion would inevitably bring with it.

Fair enough.:D

I'm just trying really hard not to be too annoyingly smug when I tell people;)

Try harder!!

:D

I've got to admit, I'm really jealous. The only consolation I can take is that I saw them twice at Earl's Court (albeit without Roger)
