There has to be someone out there looking for a white Bongo, right?

They're beautiful, a seemingly ideal color for the Bongo design, and they're rare - hard to find due to the very limited number produced. I read comments indicating that there are folks who would be very interested should one become available. I have a near new condition white Bongo 4HH up for trade as I own two 4HH Bongo's and I'm in need of a 5 string (Bongo of course). Do you guys think I'd have better luck selling it outright to fund the purchase of a 5 string or is it that the trade offer is so close to Christmas that it's limiting the interest? Any advice would be appreciated!

You would have better luck putting a price on it, and trying to sell it. Also, if you are want to attract buyers, keep the ad simple. Do potential buyers really need to know everything you put in the original ad?

i think if you really want to get rid of it and obtain a 5 string bongo...offer it up for trade for a 5 string + a little cash on your part. LOTS of people go back and forth between 4 and 5 and eventually decide they'd rather play 4 string anyway.
