I'm really a died in the wool Sunburst guy but I'm coming around in my old age to solid finishes. Still have my 25th which technically is a burst of sorts, kinda. Just thought I'd put up a pic of the newly acquired Sterling with the BA and a new family pic.

Ha ha, that's how I got the Sterling, but my goal is to get another Bongo this year, tough to be Bongo-less for too long.
I just couldn't pass up a rosewood neck, plus I never had a Sterling.

I came really close to grabbing that rosewood necked beauty. I ended up with a new Dargie 1 Bongo, instead.

Great collection. I wish I could warm up to something besides a Bongo these days. I'm a ruined man for basses.
