Between being slammed by work and fighting a nasty cold, I'd hardly picked up a guitar for a couple weeks. This morning I work up early and finally had the energy and inclination to play a bit. The closest guitar at that moment was my rosewood-necked PRS Custom 24 so that's the one I started playing. After about ten minutes I put it down because I just wasn't feeling it.
A few minutes later, I grabbed my rosewood ASS. It was like coming home! That guitar, like its twin (another rosewood ASS with trem), just feels right in my hand. Things that felt a little awkward on the PRS just a few minutes earlier suddenly felt comfortable and effortless when played on the Axis.
I suppose that's why my Balls have gotten most of my playing time since I got my first one 18 months ago.
