nice pete.i was hanging with the guys monday, the day they flew in.met them at there hotel in manhattan, had a bite to eat and took them to Rudy's music store.
when they saw the Mesa showroom they were both floored!so i introduced them to Rudy and jess then Thiago plugged into a mark 5 for the first time.we dialed in some sweet settings and had some fun exchanging licks.then i took them back to my apt to plug into something thiago never tryed before,__a BFR and Mark IIC+ so yeah he played my Silverburst and the first things out of his mouth were this is the real petrucci sound!!!hahaha saying it was easily the best amp he ever played through..all i did was laugh because someone else told me that...we went into my pro-tools and ezdrummer programs and had some fun doing it...

so i get a email from Rob Balducci telling me he's playing NYC fri nite(the day before these guys go back home).so we go downtown to the gig...1 block from CBGB's (we had to walk in)they took a few shots and were totally into hearing about the old clubs history...get to the gig and Rob sneeks up behind me and gives me a shove so i introduce them...the gig was tight and rob's tone was killer as always_they took some more pic's..hahaha
had a good time with them for the 2 days we hung but the funnest times were talking to the babes on the street and the 2 Mexician girls on the train...WOW:):)
it was fun to hang with some cool guys...

It was a great day in Manchester, CT.
I'm lucky to a have a friend as my EBMM dealer.

Felipe and I had a great time.
I can't believe you guys haven't ripped Pete free of his MM stock yet. There are some pretty amazing instruments at the store.

I'm a JP guy but really liked the KOA Luke. Plays like butter.
On the JPs, I thought the Rosewood neck felt best.

My Blue Dawn is amazing!
It's the color theme I always wanted since I got into MM. It had been recently discontinued when I ordered my first instrument. In 2007 I was so happy it was reissued as a Limited Edition. As Jack mentioned, it got in a little while after I had left the states. I'm sure glad Pete kept it for me this long.
It is so much nicer in person than pics. Of all 3 MM I own it is the hardest one to capture accurately with a cam.

Felipe's Bongo 6 sounds amazing! It looks awesome obviously, but the sound is what really surprised me. Wow! We've recorded a few test tracks and I can honestly say this is the best bass sound we've ever layed down.

We are working on the next full band cover video where you'll be able to see it in action. Might be up by the end of next week or so...

Jack, thanks for coming down while we were up there.
Nice to be able to meet and jam on a few songs with a fellow forumer.

Rich, nice hanging with you buddy!
You keep smiling with your IIc+... I'll soon have mine!!! :)
