think im having trouble with piezo

im trying to use piezo for the first time with my jp6 im using both inputs. but piezo seems to be too low volume compared to magnets.. its like night and day.. i just changed the battery yesterday so its brand new.. i went direct with a 1/4 to mixing board and had the gain and fader mix maxed out on the channel and still too low volume. will a DI box help get out.?? or is the piezo not working correctly.. it sounds really good.. its just low volume..

i tried it out with my pod hd500 running a patch with no effecs and no amps.. and switching between piezo and mags. and there is a real volume drop on the piezo. if i mix the 2 u cant hear the piezo at all..

If you can't fix the issue by adjusting the mix pot at the back of the guitar, you need to get in touch with your dealer or customer service.

I believe the mix pot only works in mono jack.
