I read that earlier today and wept a little. Man, I'm jealous. Good for him (and good for BP :D ). Last week he bought one of those EVH Frankenstein guitars.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a little jealous. Makes want to quit college and blow 20 grand a year on gear instead of an education:p

I'm not sure I understand what the point is with something like that. I guess if you just want to spend money it's o.k. but does anyone really need so many guitars that are so similar? It seems kind of childish to me.

I have a good friend that collects baseball cards. He's done this since he was a kid. I guess it's cool, but I don't get the point with that either. When your a kid, those cards are pictures of your heros, but when your an adult it's just a picture of another man.

EndoDoc's actually a really cool guy. If you read over the EVH thread he posted last week, you'll see that he knows what he's doing and that he worked for all that stuff. It's no different than collecting cars etc. except he's gonna make a hell of a return on that Frankenstrat.

I say let him enjoy them. There are many things I would do for just one of his EBMMs. It's an amazing collection; it could be a JP museum!

i think its rad. if youve earned it do as u wish. i could see myself being that way if i had the means. as it is i have like 22 guitars/basses and im nowhere near rich... i just have an awesome ability to justify buying another guitar :)

now if i had "made it" and had some serious cahs... wow! id pull up to GC with an army of uhauls!

Wow, Seriously If I was him, I would not let one of them down. I wouldnt work. I would live off my parents and just play them all day if I had the opportunity. :D
