I think all the GC's are using eBay to dump the used gear that comes in.

I don't know about the rest of you but, if I'm in charge of GC, I'm going to shakedown the entire company and inject a healthy dose of my-way-or-the-highway into the people running the individual stores. They have no sense of building any customer loyalty, the just sell sh*t....errrr a musical equipment that is.

It's to the point where I dislike going into a GC as much as I dislike going onto a car lot to look at automobiles. Well, at least I don't need to give them my car keys before they let me test drive a guitar or amp!

I'm with you, Daddy-O. I just went to the Robinson GC on Memorial day, I got that flyer in the mail that allegedly only is sent to the top 5% of their customer base.

Anyway, I get there to see this supposedly incredible sale (secretly hoping to snatch a SUB1 guitar for a steal) and all the stuff that I'm interested in is at the usual price. They hired a few young girls to work at the door that day, and they said I should just try to make a deal on the stuff I was interested in. I told them that I can do that any day in any GC. This 'sale' was probably the last time I'll bother to venture out there. It's an hour of driving, round trip. That's time I could be spending with my kids, y'know?

I went. Made a really low offer for the rad red Luke already discounted, but the guy didn't want to sell it for that. I offered about a third of list.

Actually, I think I went hoping to run into that japanese hottie I saw while trying the luke out a week or so back. But that didn't happen either.

I bought 10 packs of strings (and a Laurence juber dvd for my cardiologist).

Yeah.....the lame GC in my area doesn`t have any EBMM`s so there was no reason for me to go. Funny thing is they carry OLP guitars,but not the real deal!!!!!!!What a joke!
