Hey Fellas
We are getting KILLED by the Battle. Our unique visitors has gone up almost 5 times over Feb stats. We really don't know how many people are being turned away but it is a lot.

The new Sun servers arrived yesterday. They will help only a little due to a lack of available broadband in our area. Our webservers are in Indio and are on a wireless broadband service. We have absolutely maxed out at 7 gig. On Friday I approved splitting off the battle and having it hosted by a company with tons of broadband in San Bernadino, CA.. It was supposed to go live last night, but their were complications and will be switched over at 10:30 pm California time. The change will take hold for you guys at around midnight pst.

I apologize for the inconvenience but at the same time are really happy that we are able to provide an outlet for people to showcase their music. Last years battle had 4,200 bands sign up in a two month period, this year we already have 3,600 in just two weeks.

this is weird. the computer at my house doesnt work very well here. it stops and doesnt load pages and takes forever when it does. works fine everywhere else except any ernie ball site. at school though, its a speed demon. i think my computer is broken.

I thought that too last night. Turns out that there was a problem with the site due to excessive hits due to a Battle of the Bands..

It has been absolutely fine for me all day today.

Actually as I am writing this it is starting to slow down a little bit again.

BP I hope you are right. I have been providing ISP services for schools and upgrades in bandwidth and even servers seem to be just a temp. thing before it gets maxed out.

I think you are just too popular.

I don't care how long it takes as long as it eventually comes up.
