you sure? i know you work there and everything, but i swear on the one i lost, it didn't snap in- there were threads...I will try to take a closeup pic tonight of the hole, meanwhile, check to see if the design had changed since 3 or 4 years ago...

No, I bought it from Lark Street Music in Teaneck NJ. I swear, the arm I got it with screwed in...and in fact when I went to work (I teach at a music store in FL) I used one of their shop lights to see the threads in the hole. In fact a standard 10-32 Strat Trem arm screws in....My guess is someone along the way modified it??? How do I get it back to the way it is supposed to be???

All Music Man tremolos have pop-in tremolo arms. We have never used threads on those. The tremolo arm you had must have been the wrong one to begin with.

My suggestion would be to contact Music Man to obtain the correct trem arm. You can can call us at 866-823-2255.
