I'm looking for a new 3 band pre , not interested in the 70s tone so much ..more of that nasty 90s sound
...I recently put a 1994 stingray pup in a ray 24ca and would like to match the pre with the awesome that is this magical pick-up, I don't think the 2 band in the ray24 is playing nice with the 94 pup, any suggestions. I feel the 3 band ray34 might do the trick, or of course a real deal 3band ernieball pre, but they are so hard to find.any leads ?? I do have a duncan pre system with their very first musicman pup in another custom bass and it sounds good..just wondering any thoughts you guys have thx a ton.. jose"

.
Have a look at the John East preamps. I they would have a 3EQ suitable for your Bass.

I've been checking them out,but I'm not really into the whole sweepable mid section. Although It is cool! I just want treble bass and mid and I know the other options out there, but I really want something from ernieball or sterling. ,like I said in the above comment, I have the duncan pup and pre in another bass and I do like it a lot , I just wanna go authentic as I can with this ray24,!
